White & Lee continue to be active in many events: - On April 27th we hosted a sold-out SDF breakfast workshop on "How to Sell to Venture Capitalists". On May 6th we hosted companies from Barcelona, Spain at the White & Lee offices to provide guidance on US formation and business development issues. On May 10th Jonathan Baer of Threshold Ventures presented to companies and officials from Brunei in our offices. On May 13th our Portland Office held our annual “Baseball Opening Day” event for clients and friends of W&L in the Pacific Northwest!! - Our new luncheon Executive Roundtable program series will now be hosted by White & Lee, Silicon Valley Technopole and The Brenner Group! Again, this series will focus on international topics for clients and executives that wish to explore and discuss together strategies for penetrating global markets outside of the U.S. Our first event was held on May 27th we discussed - Lille, France as a destination for U.S. companies selling into the EEC. - We held a legal 1-on-1 clinic on June 9th, with our next session scheduled for July 14th. - US Angels is now using the White & Lee Building for its monthly investor meetings – with the next meeting scheduled for July 27th - On May 25th we hosted a sold-out SDF breakfast workshop on “Grow Your Career Opportunities and Revenues with Social Media” presented by Tim Bailey. - Our next workshop will be on July 27th on “Experiencing Agility” presented by Chris Sims.
