Tobin M. Dommer is an associate in the Silicon Valley office where he represents businesses, entrepreneurs and investors in a wide range of corporate and intellectual property matters, including venture capital investments, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, entity formation, equity compensation plans, and licensing of intellectual property. His practice emphasizes high technology and emerging growth companies, including venture capital funds and software, digital media and hardware companies.
Tobin began his legal career with Gray, Cary, Ware & Freidenrich’s Corporate and Securities Group, where he represented private companies and investors in numerous debt and equity financing transactions and counseled private and public companies in mergers and acquisitions. He also advised public companies on securities laws, including registration statements, periodic reports and proxy matters. Prior to joining White & Lee, Tobin worked in the Redwood City office of Ropers, Majeski, Kohn & Bentley, where he concentrated on business and intellectual property transactions.
